With each year that goes by, I get a year older and a bit wiser, so I would like to think. However, the saying "hindsight is 20/20" often comes to mind when I realize that another year has gone by without doing many of the things I had intended to do the year prior. I often take the stance that if I had only known then what I know now, would have made a difference. Which is followed by another year of plans, that I may as well plan now, how not to get around to. You slowly start to realize that this happens year after year. This soon becomes the dreams you once had when you were younger, and start to feel like it is now too late. This the time to realize that I am only wasting my time if my plans end at the planning stage. This tends to carry over into all sectors of life. You can plan to further your education and change your current circumstances. You can plan to start working on your marriage and putting your family first. You can plan to apply for your dream job that you are fully qualified for. Or, you can just stop there. Execute, execute, execute! That is the next step that all of us chronic planners must take. So, start doing, and plan in stages, you'll get a lot closer towards completion, in stead of simply planning alone.
